Above the Green is a 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom two story custom home with a golf course view located in Rumbling Bald Resort in Lake Lure. This extremely spacious vacation home is ideal for any size group because it offers so many interior and exterior areas for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Close to Rumbling Bald Resort amenities.
The flat concrete driveway and completely level entry to the main floor makes unloading luggage and groceries a breeze. As soon as you walk inside, you'll immediately realize you've made the right vacation rental decision for your group. An open inviting floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and wall of windows create a bright spacious feeling. The living room features plenty of comfortable seating to gather around the FIREPLACE and enjoy the large FLAT SCREEN TV. Step outside to the full length deck equipped with table and chairs plus a GAS GRILL and golf course view.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for preparing meals away from home. The stainless steel appliances include refrigerator freezer, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, and microwave. This eat-in kitchen has a breakfast table that's ideal for causal meals or morning coffee. Steps away is a formal dining room table for evening meals or planning the next day's activities. There's even a screened porch with table and chairs. Many of our prior Guests like the combination of casual, formal, and outdoor dining options. There's also a large laundry room on the main level.
For our Guests who don't like stairs, there are three bedrooms on the main level. The Master Bedroom has a King size bed and its own private bathroom. Whoever gets this bedroom is spoiled with their own glass doors to the outside deck. The first main level Guest Room also has a King size bed. The second main level Guest Room has a queen size bed. The two Guest Rooms share a full size bathroom, and there's also a half bath on the main level too. All three of these bedrooms have their own TVs. Don't forget, there are two more bedrooms downstairs.
Let's go downstairs to where all the fun happens. Here you'll find a giant combination family room and game room. It even has a full kitchen! There's plenty of comfortable seating to gather and watch movies on the flat screen TV. Choose from one of many board games provided and have a seat at the game table. Challenge your friends to a game of foosball, or corn hole outside on the full length patio.
There are two additional Guest rooms downstairs. One has two queen size beds, and the other has a unique bunk bed with a full mattress over a queen mattress. Both bedrooms downstairs have TVs and share a full bathroom.

Access roads and essential services, including power, water, and WiFi, have been restored, thanks to the hard work of contractors and volunteers. While the Chimney Rock area, Lake Lure beaches, and waterfront are currently closed, there are still many nearby attractions to enjoy.
Area restaurants, including those in Lake Lure and Asheville, are reopening, and there are many activities available within an hour's drive, including golf, wineries, breweries, music, trails, waterfalls, and more. Tryon Equestrian Center is hosting some Chimney Rock businesses affected by the storm. Saluda, Hendersonville, Forest City, Asheville, Greenville, SC, and Charlotte, NC, all make great day trips.
