Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Nice, quiet and relaxed place to stay away from the bustle of the mainland. Always felt safe and no one hassling you. Ferry very cheap. Nice restaurants on the island, especially King Jamaica.

Negative: The winding streets get a bit of getting used to especially when dark at night, but easy if you have google maps working.

Summary: Great rooms and elephantine island is the best place to stay in Aswan
