Welcome to what is unquestionably one the premier lakefront homes in The Battery on Lake Keowee, with one of the most expansive lake views on the entire Lake! Home purchased in April 2020 and completely renovated. All items in the home brand new!
This lakefront home features stainless steel appliances, a well stocked kitchen, wood flooring throughout, soaring 20 foot cathedral wood ceilings and beams, brand new custom interior and exterior renovations and painting, and brand new furnishings. Twenty foot ceilings on the main level showcase the gorgeous, expansive views of Lake Keowee. Home is a mere 50 feet from the water, and has an amazing 180+ degree big water view of the lake over a beautiful bay and several uninhabited islands. It provides over 2,400 square feet of living area, and includes a main floor patio, and large terrace level outdoor living area all with amazing views of Lake Keowee.
Also included is a one car garage with stand up paddle board and 2 kayaks available for you to use at no additional cost!
Please don't mistakenly think that all Lake Keowee properties are created equal. This home received a complete makeover in April 2020, with professional decoration, all brand new furnishings, and new paint in all rooms with soothing and happy colors to accentuate the tranquility of this lakeside paradise. Unlike many other Lake Keowee homes, this home is lakefront with a private dock just steps behind the home, and also has a large greenspace for kids to play. Many other Keowee properties require a long walk to the lake or a steep dangerous path to the dock. This home also has flat private back yard which is great for relaxing, and great for kids and games!
The exterior of the home is gray cement siding with fun pink exterior doors accentuating the lakeside patio and terrace outdoor living area. Just beyond the terrace is your own private dock to soak in the views of pristine Lake Keowee, which is consistently ranked as one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in the country. Bring your boats or jet skis and dock them in the slip for the duration of your stay. The view from the dock is truly amazing, with long eastward views for amazing sunrises, westward views for breathtaking sunsets, and big water views across Lake Keowee including several undeveloped islands.
The main level boasts an inviting entry with main living area newly painted in the soothing and refreshing colors. The kitchen features stainless appliances, a counter height bar with four stools, ample storage space, a large pantry, and is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for your perfect Lake Keowee vacation.
The dining area includes a large 8 person dining room table. The living room features a new 55 inch LED Smart HDTV with plenty of seating. The kitchen, living room, and dining room all have amazing, expansive 180+ degree lake views.
Both living rooms have 55 and 65 inch Smart TVs, and all four bedrooms have 43 or 50 inch Smart TVs, all purchased new in August 2019, all with built-in SmartTV for easy access to Netflix or Amazon Prime or other apps in all rooms.
The Master Bedroom includes a King size bedroom suite in an elegant distressed black finish with a brand new luxury plush mattress and designer bedding. The master suite also features a 50 inch LED SmartHDTV, large walk-in closet, and a master bath with bath tub and separate shower. Master also has lake views from the bed to enjoy.
The upper level includes a loft bedroom with private bath and an attached loft space reading nook with a cozy chair and ottoman, all with expansive, two level Lake Keowee views through the back of the house, which is essentially a 20 foot wall of windows! The loft has woodsy, cabin feel with a King bedroom suite in an white finish with brand new luxury plush mattress and bedding. This guest room also boasts built in drawers, a new 43 inch LED flat screen HDTV, and beautiful lake views. This upstairs bedroom includes two large nightstands with drawers so you can unpack your suitcase and feel right at home.
Just outside the living room is a peaceful lakefront porch extending over the entire width of the rear of the home. This porch includes a table and chairs for outdoor dining, a comfortable plush sofa and chairs with padded ottomans, incredible lake views, and everything you could possibly need for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing with friends and family in the evening. The main level patio also features a new gas grill and outdoor table and chairs, again with beautiful views of the lake.
The terrace level included two additional bedrooms, a full bath, and an additional recreation room. The lakeside bedroom features shiplap walls, a king bed with new comfortable mattress and designer bedding, a flat screen 43 inch smart HDTV, and a wall of glass showcasing expansive Lake Keowee views. The second terrace level bedroom is an oversized bedroom with 2 queen bed with new plush mattresses and bedding. This bedroom also has a 50 inch smart HDTV. The terrace level also includes a large recreation room. This room includes an incredibly comfortable sectional to enjoy the new 65 inch Smart HDTV, perfect for watching Football games or enjoying family movie night. There is also a built in electric fireplace with heating for ambiance or to warm up cool fall nights. The terrace level also has a washer and dryer.
Just outside the lower level is a wonderful outdoor living area with a gas fire pit and comfortable chairs, perfect for enjoying an evening drink with friends or enjoying Lake Keowee less than 30 feet away!
