Positive: If you are looking for a place to rest, recharge your energy, and connect with the Sahara, you’ve found it! Karam Camp Siwa is a very safe place, built in the desert. You can reach it in just 20 minutes by TukTuk. The room was clean, and the shower had hot water. The food, prepared by Chef Ahmed, was delicious. Although the camp offers services like desert tours with horses and cars, I didn’t need them because the campsite is located among the most beautiful dunes of the oasis. By walking for just 30 minutes, I was able to explore the lakes and dunes, reaching the highest dune in the region—an amazing spot for sandboarding and capturing breathtaking sunset photos. Beyond all this, the best part was the hospitality of the host, Karam. He is an incredibly honest and friendly person. During my stay, I truly connected with the desert life and its vast beauty. On top of that, my wife and I made wonderful friends here.
