Summary: We really enjoyed our stay overall — our room was lovely and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade. The entertainment team was great and we loved the atmosphere in general. However, one thing that felt a bit off-putting was how much of the entertainment, music and DJ sets were focused almost entirely on Russian guests. When I visit Egypt, I expect to experience Egyptian culture, but at times it felt like I had accidentally booked a holiday in Russia instead. As guests from the UK and other Africa countries, we felt a little left out and wished there was more cultural balance. A mix of Egyptian music, international songs and more inclusive entertainment would make the experience feel much more welcoming for all nationalities.
