Positive: The location is great! Right next to Bekal Fort and walking distance to a beach. It was very peaceful. Comfy bed and pillows. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Friendly helpful staff. Wild peacock and birds in the grounds.

Negative: The room was very small with the one side of the bed up against the wall. We had hardly any floor space once our two cases were opened. It just felt rather cramped. The drains were smelly so we lit some incense. I did tell the manager about the smell and they sent someone with a can of air freshener so it must be an ongoing problem. The grounds could go with tidying up and some tlc. The WiFi didn't really work in the room. It was better in reception but there is no a/c in there. They left it open for my husband so he could send some emails which was great.
