General information of the property: bushwillow estate is located on 51 hectares of land on the banks of the vaalkop dam, within the vaalkop dam nature reserve in the north west province, the north-west province of south africa is known for its birdwatching and inland fishing, with over 300 bird species in the vaalkop dam nature reserve and bird sanctuary, an adjacent area of 800 hectares, kudu, impala, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck hartebees, nyala, warthogs and monkeys are common sightings, check-in is from 14:00 and please arrive before 19:30 at the estate gate. avoid driving on the national or gravel roads at night - it’s just better to find your way in daylight, there is a communal swimming pool and braai area, trails for hiking or mountain biking, and good security, participate in various self-guided activities, including game viewing, bird watching, or enjoy the nature by walking, running or mountain biking along the paths and roads in bushwillow estate and also the north-west park bird sanctuary, most of the way is a tarred road and the last 3.1 miles is a well graded dirt road, as much as we love animals, we regret no pets are allowed for safety and conservation reasons, there is very good security on the estate and controlled access, check out: before 10:00 am, rules of the property:, the estate entry gates close at 19:30. there will be no access to the premises thereafter, be sure to reach your destination in the day light. it’s not safe to drive on the north-west roads after dark, the number of guests booked may not be exceeded. the house can accommodate 7 people.
